In that 100 teams are a majority that sent in an application when Sandy said forms were coming in fast. Payments are due March 1st ( I got an email form Sandy reminding me ). We'll see if teams start to shake out as payments come due. Based on the team list, I don't think much will change since most will pony up the $250 to be part of this event.

Sandy told me on Sunday there still is space. I've submitted my application, so it looks like I'll be doing this one for the first time this year. Last year my first comp wasn't until July, so this is a nice change!

Payouts seem a bit off base. The $250 entry fee includes all categories but out of the 18K , 4,500 gos towards the ancillary categories. 100 teams wont be competing whole hog. Would rather see more money go out to the main four possibly paid out to 10th place.

Applications must still be arriving. Website team list was updated a few days ago showing 118 teams. Conspicuous by their absence is the Wood Chicks BBQ Team! Should be a blast, I'm looking forward to it.

Spoke w/Sandy via email to get a clarification on limit, she explained to me that it was her personal goal to have 100 teams and if I understand correctly that was the intial plan. She wanted to make sure everyone who had been there in the past to be able to sign up. Than such a demand of people wanting to attend opened it up. She does have the room they will just need to figure out the parking for the public I'm guessing. Water & Electric at site 100ft cord and 100ft hose wich is typical. If anyone is doing any of the turn ins friday nite it is in the standard styrofoam box. (trust me I have visted this alot ) Will the prize pool go up? IMO great if it does but if it doesn't fine also. Sandy puts on a GREAT!!! event. I'm getting real excited and can't wait to see everybody
