| State Representatives and State Cups
The Mid Atlantic BBQ Association encompasses the following states - DE, MD, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, and WV, and is currently in the process of selecting member candidates to serve as a State Representative in their respective district.
In order for the MABA to consider sponsoring a "State Cup" for any of the member states, that state must meet specific criteria. The state representative must approach the Board and present that he or she has at least fifty (50) active members in this organization. The state rep must also present all pertinent information (location and name of contest, contact person, phone number(s), address, and email) for a minimum of three (3) KCBS sanctioned competitions held in that state. It will be up to the state rep to decide which three contests with which to address the Board.
Upon completion of the requirements, the Board, at its discretion, may move ahead with the option of any possible sponsoring, hosting, planning, and/or "labor as needed" assistance as may be requested or deems necessary to offer.
